Fresh Start Renovations
Renovations have begun on our current edifice. Please pardon the mess as we unveil a "new look" for FSC (completion date, Winter 2012). In light of our efforts to create a modern and improved worship space, the trustees are asking that ALL members be considerate and observe the following:

• Empty beverage containers before placing them in a waste bag.
• Do not flush personal items or paper towels in the toilets.
• Dispose of all open food containers PRIOR to entering the building.
• Do not chew gum or consume food in the sanctuary.
Calling all Ladies! The Women's Choir will debut on Sunday, January15. Rehearsal will take place Thursday, January 12 from 7-9pm.

Sabbath School
Youth and Teen Sabbath School is back! The holiday season has ended and it's time to get empowered. Due to church renovations, classes will resume in February.

Marriage Ministry
Join the Covenant Keepers Ministry for Marriage Empowerment on Saturday, January 21 at 5pm. The topic of discussion will be "Honey, I Apologize". Childcare will be provided and this is a cover dish
affair.

Mending Our Nets
Mending Our Nets leadership meets Wednesday, January 18 at 7pm. This class is for ALL persons serving in any capacity at Fresh Start Church.

The Urge to Preach
The urge to Preach, an exploration class for all preachers and potential callees will begin in February. Bishop Coates will be challenging the writing, speaking, and teaching tools of all prospective persons. To register, please email bishop@jumpstartyourfaith.org. Classes begin Monday, Feb 13 at 7pm.

Bishop's Engagements
Monday, January 16 Bishop Coates will be ministering at Mount Olive AME Church, 2 Hicks Avenue, Annapolis for the annual Dr. MLK, JR.Empowerment Rally. The service begins at 7pm.

Valentine Bash for Couples
It's time to show the one you love that you care! It's our annual Valentine Bash for Couples. Saturday, February 25, at the newly renovated Fresh Start Church banuqet room. Tickets are $50.00 per couple and space is limited. To reserve your space, visit our link at www.jumpstartyourfaith.org.

BGE Energy Assistance Program
Our BGE Energy Assistance program will be taking applications for Winter Relief. All applicants must be a resident within 5 miles of the church. Additional requirements will be made available at the time of applying. Persons in need may obtain an application from our main office, Mon-Thursdays from 10am-2pm. No applications will be accepted on Sundays.

From Church Administrator…
In an effort to support a more eco-friendly environment, we will no longer make mass copies of the church calendar. They will be sent via e-mail to all persons who have e-mail addresses.  It is not our desire for any member to be excluded, so the copies will be strictly for those with no computer access.  We have noticed with the December mailings that a lot of e-mails need to be updated. Please be sure to update your email address with the church administration. Thank you for your cooperation.

Membership Information
If your contact information has changed, please fill out a member’s change form in the lobby. It will allow the church to have accurate information for each member.

CDs and DVDs
CDs and DVDs of Sunday worship services are available from the communications ministry. CDs are $5. See Sis. Vanessa Jackson or Bro. Anthony Lyle. DVDs are $8 and available from Sis. Chris or Bro. Calvin Cain.


Weddings and Baby Dedications
